Custom Leather “Haver-Bag”

This “Haver-Bag” gets it’s name by being a cross between a smaller leather hunting bag and a large cloth haversack.

This bag is made from soft 2-3 ounce calfskin dyed in a dark chocolate brown and is fully lined with the customer’s provided material. The bag includes an inset brass medallion with an engraving of a Cherokee Turtle along with a Cherokee Spider engraved on the pewter button (as specified by the customer). The two brass rings on the back of the bag allow for her to change the straps (pictured here with a customer supplied inkle woven strap).

The bag is fully hand-stitched with waxed hemp thread and measures 11” tall x 11” wide with a 2” gusset.
