This 18th century hunting bag is made from 3-4 oz. (1.5 mm) vegetable tanned leather. The flap features a wood block impression of the “Join or Die” symbol, which originated as a political cartoon by Benjamin Franklin in 1754. The underside of the flap, and the main pocket trim is soft calfskin leather. This bag is made larger than the originals to meet the needs of modern users.
