Classic Leather 'Dopp Kit' (Shaving kit)
Our classic all leather ‘Dopp kit’ bags (a.k.a. shaving kit) are made in a style from the 1950s/60s. These bags are unlined as the originals were, and will provide a lifetime of service.
The bags measure 9” L x 6”W x 3.5” T and feature a full length brass zipper and full length external side pocket.
Why are they called ‘Dopp Kits’ ?
The comes from Charles Doppelt, a German-American leather craftsman who invented a compact toiletry case in 1919, that was popularized when the U.S. Army issued them to soldiers during World War II, leading to the "Dopp" name sticking for these travel bags.
