This 18th Century Scalloped bag features a single main compartment measuring 8" tall, by 7" wide at the top and 8-1/2" wide at the bottom with a 1" gusset. Additionally,  there is a 3" by 5" interior pocket for small items. The scalloped flap features beautiful quillwork in a Native American theme of the sun & moon with a Thunderbird watching over mankind.

The body of this bag is made from oxblood colored 2-3 oz. goatskin (known as "Moroccan Leather" in the 18th Century) for its supple, yet durable characteristics. It is lined with color coordinated pillow ticking material and the trim and gusset are made from calfskin/kipskin leather. The 1-1/4" adjustable strap is woven by us from 100% wool yarn in a period correct pattern. This bag is completely handcrafted and hand-stitched.
